A safe bank or credit union account can save you hundreds of dollars a year in fees, and it keeps your money protected. These three lessons work on their own or with our classes. You will learn what to bring to open an account, even without a Social Security number, and what to do if a bank has turned you down before. You will learn how to check that your money is insured and how to avoid common fees. And if you send money to family in another country, you will learn how to find the real cost and know your rights.
