Eric Zhou

Eric is extremely passionate about the world of economics and finance. He feels strongly about the fact that many in this world cannot access proper financial education, which is essential to succeed in modern society. For that reason, Eric is enthusiastic about the potential for Dollar Scholars to change the lives of individuals, and, potentially, hopefully, help people get out of poverty. He dreams of a world where everyone can be financially educated, no matter their background. Outside of being a student, Eric loves reading, writing, biking, and eating great food. Eric currently lives in Potomac, Maryland, and brings a valuable and unique perspective: he is originally from Hangzhou, China. This makes Eric unique, as he is the only member of the Dollar Scholars team with Chinese heritage. Eric moved to the United States at the age of 8 to pursue his education abroad. Eric is described by friends and family as someone with ambitious and motivated in his endeavors.
